I want to thank you all for sharing your tips and opinins about all 
things Treo related.
How we use our Treos: My wife is a doctor, every night I beam her 
schedule (from Jan 1, 2006 to the end of current month) to my Treo.
Then I sync my Treo to my computer, print out this weeks schedule, 
and plug the appointments into an Excel spreadsheet.
My wife has a 700p Verizon, and I have a 650p Verizon.

Question 1:
If my 650p stops working, and I stay with Verizon, would you 
recommend I get the 700p, or go with the 755p-assuming Verizon sells 
them, I have not investigated that yet.
Our Treos are stock as a rock - the only extra programs we have on 
them is mSafe, and something called NutriCount, a calorie counting 
program. She uses a bluetooth headset, I do not.

Question 2: When my wife is talking with a patient on the phone, and 
while talking, goes to the calendar to enter an appointment, her Treo 
crashes. She has had this happen on two Verizon 650p's and this 700p. 
I asked her and she says she does not lose the phone call, the Treo 
just does a soft reset. (I cannot believe the call does not get cut 
off, I am thinking she is opening the calendar as the person is 
saying goodbye, and does not know the call has been dropped.) I'd say 
this happens once or twice a week - not every time she does this 
particular action.
Is there an after market program that can handle talking on the phone 
and making an appointment that you folks recommend?
I have played with dbScan, and things are better for a while, but 
that could just be a coincidence, right? I cannot recreate the 
problem, I have had wifey phone me numerous times and open her 
calendar, and everything is fine.
FWIW, wifey is really hard on phones. The first Treo broke, she got 
another one on warranty, lost it, Verizon gave her a refurb 700p.
In two months, we are up for the New every Two plan, so that is why I 
am wondering which version Treo to get next.

Oh, around a year ago, her 650p was giving her the same trouble, so 
we went to the Verizon store and had them switch phone numbers on our 
Treos, so really, she has been through 3 650p Treos. ALL her four 
Treos have had this soft reset problem.
She used to make repeating appointments, and mofify them repeatedly, 
I asked her to stop doing this, but that does not help with the soft 
reset problem.
