I'm still confused how "speaker bypass" "bypasses" the headphone jack.
Wouldn't that bypass the speaker? Its the speaker you want to work. I think
you are looking for a headphone jack bypass, right?

Just tried Freedom. It doesn't solve the problem. Can't hear ringer in
speaker from incoming call. In fact, the info. about it at
www.palminfocenter.com doesn't claim that it will deal with the
defective speaker jack issue.
