Good summaries of possible causes for this. Another cause, and something that happened to me, is getting parts of two different versions of D2G on the same Treo. The only solution is to remove the program entirely, including any parts transferred to the card by the "Dataviztech" tool or by D2G itself in later versions, and then reinstall.

What other info is needed to determine the problem. The 650 is seriously lacking in its dbcache, both in terms of size and in management. Assuming you want to stay with the 650 or cannot afford to upgrade at this time, get Reset Doctor from Hobbyist Software <http://www.hobbyistsoftware.com/reset-doctor-more.php>. It will help properly manage the cache and provide crash protection, both by reducing the causes of crashes and by protecting your prefs in the event of a crash. It'll also log crashes for later review to help you track down their causes. Also get Resco Locker to lock "unsafe" apps into the cache. <http://www.resco.net/palm/locker/default.asp>. In this context, what makes some apps "unsafe" is that if they are flushed from the cache, the Palm becomes unstable and may crash. A better solution is to upgrade to a newer Treo. Which model that is will depend on which carrier you're using. With AT&T or other GSM networks, it's the 680 (which I have, it's way better than the 650 in every detail). With Sprint it's the 755. With Verizon I think it's the 700p, but they should be getting the 755 sometime this year IIRC. -- Jeffrey Kaplan www.gordol.org The from userid is killfiled Send personal mail to gordol "One of the best ways of enslaving a people is to keep them from education.
