> I can't believe is how slow WinMob is.

A few months back when we changed providers at work, we all got to replace
our BlackBerry's with whatever we wanted (within reason.) A few people went
with HTC 8525, one guy upgraded to a BlackBerry Pearl, our IT guys went with
Treo 750's and I went for a 680. (Me: IIIc -> Tungsten T3 -> T|X -> Treo
680.)

When we were at the store comparing phones, the Treo 750 on display was
incredibly slow compared to the 680. One of our guys then had the idea to
open Task Manager (or whatever it is on WinMob) and kill off the 50 (!) or
so processes that were running in the background. Apparently people aren't
used to having a multitasking phone, especially from Palm, so they don't
realize that when switching apps that the previous one is still running.
Later, rather than go back to the existing instance of the application, they
start a new copy running ending up with lots of active processes.

After killing off the excess processes, the speed of the 750 was comparable
to the 680.

Something to keep an eye out for...
