Yes, the 4Gb iPhone is being phased out. Finished.

And for those thinking that the price cuts have to do with bad sales, iPhone 
sales topped ALL OTHER Smartphone sales *COMBINED*. Yep, all Nokia Symbian, 
all Windows Mobile, all Treo devices, TOGETHER. 1.8% of total *PHONE* sales 
*alone*.

So Apple is just making sure they rule the (smartphone) world faster. :-)

I would buy one, if it had support for third-party applications. That's 
probably what the iPhone 2.0 will offer. Much like I had to wait 3 versions 
of the iPod Video to finally have what i wanted (a full-screen video iPod).
