I have found, since switching from the T3 to the Treo a few years ago, that I do not have much need to use the stylus anymore.
There are a few apps or games that I have that are not 5-way nav compatible, but most are. Most of the time, I can simply use my finger. NFL Mobile forces me to take out the stylus because it is a web site but requires Wide view (no 5-way support in this mode) and it has tiny icons. The other most common use of the stylus is to select text for copying, deleting and editing. I use the freeware FieldPlus to allow this to be done with the left shift button, 5-way and center select button. Those who do use it often, is it simply out of habit? Do you not feel comfortable using the 5-way? Do you simply not think about using 5-way? What are everyone else doing? Thanks, I'll see you on the web! Carl W.
