You only need to an "update" which will only update things that changed since the last backup.
You can have other projects: contacts, pictures, etc to separately project any data that may be important to you. You can even backup a directory on the card, like a PowerRun or Linkstart directory where files may be deleted and wouldn't otherwise be backed up. Thanks, I'll see you on the web! Carl W. Also, > approximately how long does a backup take? Thanks! IMO, the only reason to do incremental instead of full backups is if time is an issue. If it's going to happen while you're asleep, does it really matter how long it takes? Mine take ~7 minutes to back up 384 files / 25.3MB. It's set to compute CRC (so Winzip on my desktop can open them if necessary) and 'fastest' compression. It's also set to clear the dbcache when done, which itself takes a couple minutes. Note that this is on a 680, and I'm backing up to a PNY 2GB SD card. The 755 may work faster or slower, and your card may also be faster, or slower. -- Jeffrey Kaplan www.gordol.org The from userid is killfiled Send personal mail to gordol Guidelines for Legion of Doom Troops: 10.
