even if the OS were the same, I don't see any reason to pick the 500v over the Centro.
500v has: lower resolution, a 320x240 pixel screen No hardware switch to silence the ringer Micro-SD requires you to remove the battery to remove/insert the card Verify light battery difference of 50mAh between the two (my 755p has a Siedo 2100 mAh extended battery as my regular battery and its newly announced replacement the 2200 mAh as my backup - there is not a big difference with my 100mAh difference) Higher camera but both produce marginally acceptable images (great to capture what would otherwise go uncaptured, thus making the images acceptable on default) The Bluetooth difference would only affect less than 1% of users Thank God for differences, even with the variety of Palm devices available, they still makes for minor victories and often minor sacrifices. Neither appears to have WIFI which would differentiate one from the other more than anything else. Thanks, I'll see you on the web! Carl W. You want it cause it runs Windows Mobile and will take twice the number of key presses to do anything you can do on a Palm os device? > Roger Prokic wrote: > http://www.brighthand.com/default.asp?newsID483 > > Read this brighthand comparsion of the Centro vs Treo 500v. > > I read it and realized I would rather have a Treo 500v instead of a > Centro. > > See for yourself and let me know. > > Roger > > Yahoo!
