Well, that Google page is wrong then. I've been using GMail IMAP access via SnapperMail Enterprise Edition ever since it became available. Since it works in SnapperMail, it should work in any other PalmOS client that supports IMAP.
It works fine with SnapperMail, though there is one known problem so far. When downloading a message within another message from the GMail IMAP server, their server produces non-RFC compliant header information. SnapperMail will report errors during the download process, which can be somewhat difficult to work around. Matt, the SnapperMail engineer, has already reported the non-standard IMAP problem to Google, and they have acknowledged that it will be fixed in the future. --- Michael .....
