Your preferences files were corrupted during a reboot. Recover SAVED_PREFERENCES.PDB and UNSAVED_PREFERENCES.PDB from backup (assuming you use a backup program of course, which is good practice for us Treo users). From now on, if this happens "more than once", you might consider getting Reset Doctor from HobbyistSoftware (www.hobbyistsoftware.com), which does automatic backup and restore of lost preferences files when corruption happens during a reboot.
