Is it just the UI you're interested in changing, or do you want to
actually change the database used as well?

If you use KeyContacts, or something else that uses its own database,
you will no longer be able to maintain/sync the data with the standard
conduits, or use Palm Desktop for your computer-side use.

On the other hand, there are lots of replacement programs out there
that will use the built-in database but present it differently. Each
has their own style. In the past, I've used TealPhone. I now use
TakePhone. The +only+ "problem" with TakePhone is that while it's good
for making calls, looking up contacts, etc, in order to enter a new
contact, you still have to use the Palm built-in address book.
