So when good was your default contact manager, when writing sms it would look at good contacts on the phone. While writing email in chatter or similar, it would update the email addresses from good contact manager. Let me know if this understanding is correct.
If this is correct then I guess this is what I'm looking at. Beyond contacts creates it's database as well as syncs to the default database. I think key contact also does the same thing. I'm looking for is like in Windows operating system, one can choose which should be your default contact manager, email client, calendar client, etc. This would be really nice. Good installed itself as the default contact manager (instead of the Palm Contacts). By doing what I did, Palm now recognized the default contact manager as the database for contacts, Caller ID, .... Also other programs like SMS and the phone use the Palm database for contact information.
