I've owned two Treos, the 650 and now the 680. Prior to that, all of my phones have been flip-phones, so prior to the 650, I've never needed a keyguard or screen protector, the phone's hardware itself protected it from accidental keypad/screen hits. Putting an unprotected Treo in my inside coat pocket, with nothing else in the pocket, I'd wind up having the thing do all sorts of unintended stuff. Depending on exactly what was on the screen or buttons at the time, they've made calls, they've loaded other programs, etc. For +me+, if it goes in a pocket, it goes in a full coverage case. -- Jeffrey Kaplan www.gordol.org The from userid is killfiled Send personal mail to gordol "I love the idea of a school in which people come to get educated and stay in the state in which they're educated." - George W.
