Phones are bought and sold on ebay all the time. It's why I don't generally get insurance (except for the Treo 755p where the price per month is so cheap on Verizon Wireless). I've bought and sold Samsung phones, and pretty much every single handheld I've ever finished with. I have two Palm T|X'es I'm about to put up there.
Completed auctions on ebay for Spring Palm 700p's are looking like they go for between $99 and $220 depending upon the qualify of the 'package' and condition of the unit. As with any online transaction, you have to be careful. The only one who ever burned me on ebay is doing time in a federal penitentiary.
