No, Sprint does not offer online hardware activations/swaps like Verizon does; I sure wish they did.
They used to, but removed the feature. I hear in the rumor mill that they are added the feature back to some accounts that have been migrated to the new Essemble billing system. I've done it multiple times and even when the web hiccoughed, I was able to finish the process on the phone with customer service. I have to assume that there is a comparable process with Sprint or there wouldn't be so many phones being sold this way.
