I have recently encountered a situation where my 755p resets after most hotsyncs. When it does it hangs at the Access splash screen. In fact, *most* of my resets are hanging there.
I've started trying to troubleshoot by deleting system-challenging software like the IBM java app and Opera beta, but I wonder whether anyone can make a suggestion. It doesn't appear to be associated with any particular application, except that of all apps, Agendus is most likely to spark a reset. That's why I downgraded to 11.1, the most stable release which runs on a Treo. Date: Sat Feb 23, 2008 10:33 am Size: 2K To: [email protected] Um, just a follow-up on my original post (talk about getting highjacked!! <g>): I did stick with HotSync Manager 7.0.2 and the newer PalmDesktop, syncing only to Outlook, and it has been playing nicely with KeyContacts, Datebook6.1 and BackupBuddy. I have no idea what the "Addit" application is that HSM 7.0.2 offers to sync, so I have disabled that conduit, and life is good. You are now free to continue the Linux/Apple/PC rants... ;-) --- In [email protected], lskohn <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I am setting up a new desktop, and instead of pulling out the original > Treo installation disk, I went to the palm website and downloaded the > Palmdesktop -- but I got HotSync Manager 7.0.2, while the disk is > HotSync Manager 6.0.1 (which is what I have on my laptop). > > Aside from the snazzy new GUI, what do I gain from HSM 7.0.2?
