Man, those 4Gb iPhone owners must be quite happy... :-p

Oh, but they'll be standing in line for hours AGAIN for the next big thing
from Apple. :-)

My Treo 680 is getting pretty old in my hands, and my wife's. We just can't
stand all the known "Palm issues" (resets, Bluetooth flakiness, network
issues, crappy camera, etc.) anymore. So I'm between a N95 Black and an
iPhone 16Gb. Maybe I'll get the first and give my wife the second, I don't
know.

It's just that when you talk to all those Symbian, iPhone and Blackberry
owners and they can't imagine a device that resets for a number of reasons,
you remember that you only accepted the notion that a cell phone resets
after you got a Treo... ;-(

I recently discovered why Symbian devices are stable, despite the vast
amount of software and skins and themes available: they all have to be
signed. That's right, the same thing Apple will be doing, and Palm and
Microsoft do not. Guess which platforms are the most Unstable ones...

Ok, no more ranting. :-)

there's also a related link on that page about a possible $100 price
cut in the iPod Touch and iPhone - anticipating the 3G release and
dropping the 8G Touch.

I still don't get why there's no 3G now? Anyways ...
