I need to add a user name to HotSync Manager on my iMac's copy of
Palm Desktop for Mac. When I try to add it, the program limits me to
a smaller # of characters (Richard E Johnson MD = 20) than I used for
my standard user name on the same software on my MacBook (Richard E.
Johnson, MD = 22). If I go to the MacBook and try to add to or edit
the existing user name (Richard E. Johnson, MD = 22), it does not
allow me to use all the characters that already exist in the name. 1)
Does this make any sense (not to me)?, and 2) How can I correct it?
If necessary, I can change the name and use the same on both, but it
would be an unnecessary waste of time and aggravation, as I have used
the same 22-character name on Palms for years now.
