Yes indeed - I used a hardware `add on` kit from Palm with my Tungsten T3 for several years. Had a bit of a problem with intermittent connection (mechanical issue) but software-wise it was excellent. Indeed I have transferred the software and maps to my Treo 680 purely as a street-level map of the UK even though I now have an independent TomTom system. TomTom is very good, by the way.
