there does seem to be a big difference between palm models with regard stability. It has been suggested that models that have been taken up by telcos are more stable as the telcos badger palm to sort out their phones. It may have happened with the palm treeo 680 that i got had a camera always on battery drain problem. This got fixed quickly though by telcos pressure :)
So my treo 680 should be one of the more stable models. Maybe theres a moto in there wait and see what everyone else thinks about a new palm phone before being an early adopter.
