Doesn't changing the sync name render your commercial apps, that use the sync name for validation, unregistered? Agendus, Wordsmith, LauncherX and SmartList to Go are all registered to my current Sync ID. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beaming should work for the PIM data, but Export/Import might be faster. You could give the devices the same UserID, but first rename the BACKUP folder for your 650 so you don't sync all that data in case there is something corrupt there. Then your registered apps should work. I didn't have any problem using a different UserID. Since I still use the Clie if I had an app I needed for the Centro I just purchased a new copy for it.
