UGH!! I really can't believe they would allow themselves to take such a giant step backward. 'Course, I can't believe they will be selling a device without an emulator for all the old 320x320 PalmOS apps, either. 'Course, I can't believe that Apple would release a device in this century with no removable battery, no cut/copy/paste, and no todo list. It's amazing some of the profoundly dumb decisions smart people/companies make.
Anyway, every device out there (with some notable exceptions) has a microSD slot these days. The Pre had better have one to, or I'll have to be less enthusiastic when I wait in line to buy one on Day One (hoping not to take it back). I cannot believe, regardless of what information is out there now, that between now and the actual release of the handheld that the unit will come out without removable media. Apple has been soundly booed for this lack, and virtually every other handset has it. I cannot honestly believe Palm would take a step backwards. I'm willing to wager that removable storage will be there, probably in microSD format.
