Stereotype much, Scandals & Animals? Many switched Palm > iPhone as I did because it's more technically satisfying to enjoy 1000s of apps that run perfectly, that exploit an elegant UI & form factor, and no longer require restoring lost data (see dozens of posts, below) because hard resets are now a thing of the past. Avoiding complexity is not the same as embracing ignorance - Lamborghini & Ferrari dashboards have just a few analog guages, but their owners can certainly afford (and understand) more complicated solutions. For the all- important matter of Usability, less is more. Apple gets this and now finally, so does Palm.
My only AOL exp. is converting a neighbor from AOL to a real ISP, porting his email addys, setting up his WiFi, IMAP, Google widgets, Chrome browser, etc. Careful where you point your generalizations, S&A. And I promise never to dismiss all Treo users as tech dinosaurs. ~Daniel Geary --- In [email protected], Scandals & Animals <scandalsandanim...@...> wrote: > > People who can be happy with an iPhone are people who could have been > happy with AOL Internet access.
