Here's the Diablo's dash: http://www.autocult.com.au/img/gallery/444175.jpg That looks far more complicated than most Toyotas and Hondas I've seen...even the sporty ones. Technical cars (i.e., performance and racing cars) tend to have far more detailed and complicated interiors because the drivers need far more information at any one time. Now if you want to go bare-bones, such as karts and midgets, well, you can get by with a tach and a fuel guage, but that's hardly what you're talking about. > but their owners can certainly afford (and > understand) more complicated solutions. The "Zen of Palm" was simple and fast = powerful. Most of Palm's own apps still follow this credo. The fact that the OS is less that ideally stable is a result of years of adding on to a core that was never meant to accommodate such evolution. The iPhone is a non-technical device for non-technical people. You may understand how it works, but you can't change/control it nearly to the degree that coders have been tweaking Palm devices for well over a decade. > And I promise never to > dismiss all Treo users as tech dinosaurs. That'd be wise, as this IS the _Treo_ mailing list, and moderation is always an option. Play nicely. -- CRA1G on Twitter [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
