Hey Toni, I'm in the DC Area as well - used to live in Adams Morgan but now in Vienna, VA. Anyway, I've heard rumors that Best Buy will not have much of any inventory. Also from what I recall it's pretty hard to get someone on the phone at one of their stores that actually has information you need. My suggestion would just be to start calling stores in the area (start with the closest/most convient ones, then go further out) on Friday, the day BEFORE the roll out. They might be able to tell you that they have them or even how many they have and whether they'll be staying open till midnight in order to sell them, etc. I was able to get a Treo 800w a couple days before it was supposed to be officially "out" because some stores just had it a little early and were selling it. Not that any stores will sell the Pre early because I'm sure there's much more security around that phone than any other Sprint has carried! Still, I would call around and ask, but just realize that some information may be faulty. Some stores I called said they wouldn't be getting the 800w for a couple of weeks. That MIGHT have been true, but I kind of doubt it, since it was a pretty big roll-out.
