I bought a Treo 750 on eBay that was listed as used, but seems very new. It
didn't come with the box, software or manual. I downloaded the manual and the
Windows Mobile Media Center software (if that's the right name). I always used
my Treo 600 on my XP computer because it wouldn't work on my Vista computer.
This one, I'm connecting to the Vista. When I try to make it sync, it does it
for a long time, then says it failed because there are too many messages. I
don't have any messages. In fact, I don't use Outlook on the new computer
although it is installed from Office 2007. I tried to go to the settings, but
it won't let me click on the check box next to Files for items to be synced. On
my 600, I was using HotSync. This one apparently uses ActiveSync. I don't know
if I have the wrong software or am doing something wrong or if there's a
problem with the phone. Any suggestions?
