Both can work together. I've used it on my mogul. -----Original Message----- From: Jim Griffin <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, 05 June, 2009 5:53 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Treo] Treo 750 file loading & syncing
Shortly after I got my Centro, I made the mistake of clicking on the icon for ActiveSync. I didn't realize that I needed to pay VZW extra monthly fees, nor did I know that it disabled the calendar and contact sync via the desktop. After talking to VZW support, I found all that out... and had to do a hard reset and sync to get back to normal. Good luck. It didn't come with the box, software or manual. I downloaded the manual and the Windows Mobile Media Center software (if that's the right name). I always used my Treo 600 on my XP computer because it wouldn't work on my Vista computer. This one, I'm connecting to the Vista. When I try to make it sync, it does it for a long time, then says it failed because there are too many messages. I don't have any messages. In fact, I don't use Outlook on the new computer although it is installed from Office 2007. I tried to go to the settings, but it won't let me click on the check box next to Files for items to be synced. On my 600, I was using HotSync. This one apparently uses ActiveSync. I don't know if I have the wrong software or am doing something wrong or if there's a problem with the phone. Any suggestions? Richard [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
