At the palm support forum, I searched for "Voice memo - convert to wav or mp3"
and found this post
http://forums.palm.com/palm/board/crawl_message?board.id=video_and_photo&message.id=2688 .
I have not tried it.  I use a third party voice recorder on my treos for
recording voice messages straight to wav format.  There are several on Handmark
and all palm software is 50% off at handmark right now.

how do you do that?
I have moved them to sd card from internal memory using "filez"

They are in pdb format and so cant be played on my PC.

The Treo 680 does have a sd card slot
