I could have sworn there was a discussion here about Evernote but the blasted
search doesn't seem to be getting any hits. I thought one of you (Don?) was
requiring tables which was not available.

Well, just today they released a public beta of the rebuilt-from-the-ground-up
Windows version, and it has table creation as well as a ton of other new
features:

There's a Windows Mobile version of Evernote as well as a Palm Pre version. No
PalmOS version, but there are mobile web versions that can be used via blazer
(as well as versions for Blackberry, iPhone, and I think an Android version
that's about to be released). All of these are fairly minimalist compared to
the Mac and Windows desktop versions, but serve the general purpose of being
able to write some basic note on your phone and search and retrieve any note
for viewing while on the go.

Similar to Google Apps, Evernote also has collaboration features, but in order
for other people to edit your notes you have to splurge for a premium account.
I'm trying to make the case to my wife that it's worth it ;-)
