Interesting! I tried the beta and all that runs, after install, is an intro video. No program. I'll have to take it up with them - the new function looks good on paper, if I can only get to it - especially tables! If I can share individual notes with individual outside people (and if I can get paste the intro video), the premium version will be well worth it for me!

I thought one of you (Don?) was requiring tables which was not available. Well, just today they released a public beta of the rebuilt-from-the-ground-up Windows version, and it has table creation as well as a ton of other new features: http://blog.evernote.com/2009/09/24/evernote-big-windows-release/ There's a Windows Mobile version of Evernote as well as a Palm Pre version. No PalmOS version, but there are mobile web versions that can be used via blazer (as well as versions for Blackberry, iPhone, and I think an Android version that's about to be released). All of these are fairly minimalist compared to the Mac and Windows desktop versions, but serve the general purpose of being able to write some basic note on your phone and search and retrieve any note for viewing while on the go. Similar to Google Apps, Evernote also has collaboration features, but in order for other people to edit your notes you have to splurge for a premium account. I'm trying to make the case to my wife that it's worth it ;-) Levi Wallach Tweet me @dvdmon [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
