Hi, This may or may not amaze some people. My Treo 650 was getting long in the tooth and loosing screws. Time to change phones.
I did a lot of soul searching. With my wife's Pre nightmare, that was out of the question. I really can't leave Sprint cause of a family plan and big discount. That leaves out the iPhone et al. I opted for the Treo 755p. Downsides were a mediocre browser and a GPS that doesn't work with apps. Upsides are faster comm speed, more memory, familiar operation & apps, and the ability to take my fav apps with me. (Some don't exist elsewhere). That's the background, here is the question: I couldn't consider the Opera browser before because of memory. Especially since Opera needs a Java kit. I now have more memory. Anyone use the Opera browser on a Palm Treo? Is it worth the extra memory? Any downsides? TIA, Paul
