Craig, I want to make sure I'm not missing something. While I like Evernote
and think it has great promise, I find (especially) the WebOS version to be
pretty rudimentary.

When I fire it up, I see a title bar: RECENT NOTES, and then a list of
notes, one after the other, with no ability to sort or organize them in any
way. I think you are going to tell me that I need to start to think TAG and
stop thinking Hierarchy (right?) but sometimes a gold ol' hierarchy is so
handy for organizing things, and I get none of that with EN. Also, with
some people using EN for tasks AND notes, how is that manageable? Again
Tags? Have a Tag that says Tasks?

I await your feedback!

Cheers,

Don

Your local Sprint store has both the Pre and the Pixi available for
playing with, and I've actually found their in-store reps to be mostly
pretty knowledgeable. One guy at the store near my house knew more
about the homebrew scene than I did...turns out he's a developer, too.
:-) So, you might want to check that out. Or, wait until 1/25 and go
visit a Verizon store to see the Pre+ & Pixi+. Not a whole lot
different...just minor stuff.

Evernote on webOS works very well...the app is quite nice.

Dunno about any of the others...I've never used a WinMo device enough
to get into 3rd party apps much.

Calendaring is great -- integrates seamlessly with Google and
Exchange. Evernote...see above. Dialing...the dialpad is either
keyboardable or on-screen...go check one out in person to see if the
buttons are big enough.

You can sync to Exchange (Outlook = your desktop access) and Google
(and Google Desktop gives you offline access), so I think you're good
to go. The Pre syncs changes pretty instantly, or every so often,
depending on your settings. I've not had any trouble getting online
(Google and Exchange) to reflect my Pre, and vice versa, within 60
seconds or so after making a change.

HTH.
