wow! I have no clue what that was about, but it worked. I called
Newman's card and there's a 2 on the picture icon. Opened it and tapped
the header and there were 2 Google profiles. Unlinked. Now I've got
Newman's card, and I can now see Muller's card.
Thing was, I don't know how they were linked. When I discovered I could
see one and not the other -- on the Pre, because on the Treo Pro and in
Google, they were two contacts -- Muller had nothing in the position or
company, Newman was Sheriff in ACSO, and each had different phone
numbers, addresses and notes.
But if I have a similar problem again, I'll know a place to look.

Now to decide whether I want to put time and effort into patching the
Pre and then having to start over when 1.4 comes out in a couple months
with camera functions I want.
