Excellent. I'm glad I could help. But I don't understand why having Google Services activated changes the GPS accuracy. Supposedly, according to the fine print you have to agree to when you turn it on, the Google Services is just allowing the "service to collect anonymous and aggregate location data". Why would that affect the accuracy of the GPS???

Wow...that's great info! I just checked mine, and my Google services was also checked. I unchecked it, and sure enough, it found my exact location! Thanks for sharing! Under Location Services > Preferences > Locate Me Using: - Be sure GPS is on. - If you also have Use Google Services turned on, the autolocation is not very accurate and will only find you within a 1 mile radius. Turning that option off allowed Google Maps to find my location precisely. I discovered this because my PrePlus autolocation was spot on, but my son's was a big approximate radius. Comparing the two settings I realized he had "Use Google Services" set to On, whereas mine was Off. Turning his off fixed the problem.
