I've come to realize that Palm took the "small and stable" approach to
webOS apps; they didn't risk lots of bugs because they didn't include
many features at the outset.

That said, if Palm's history of frequent updates continues (as I
expect it will), we'll most likely see improvements to core apps in
the near future.  Of course, there's nothing stopping a 3rd-party dev
from creating a kick-ass webOS email app.  Oh, Snappermail, where are
you now??
