Upon seeing your question, I googled for an answer and found a bunch of
online posts asking the same question about the iPhone. (Does having wi-fi
enabled, even when you're not using it, drain the battery?) There was no
consistent answer. Some responders said Yes it drains the battery, others
said No it does not unless the wi-fi is being used.

So, maybe one of the more experienced people on this list will enlighten us.

Subject: [Treo] WiFi - keep it on?

Will keeping WiFi on all the time harm battery life, like Bluetooth?

I turn it on at home, to access our network, but am wondering if I should
turn it off when I leave the house.

Thanks.
