This is not an uncommon complaint.  It's still uncommon, in that not
even close to a significant % of people experience this problem, but
it's not rare in the online forums.  I, myself, have a small crack in
the lower corner of the USB cutout stretching up to just around the
corner on the front towards the screen.  It's not gotten worse than
that, but I try not to stress the screen too much.

IMO, it's a design flaw, since this certainly shouldn't happen with
normal wear and tear in less than a year, and that's what mine has
experienced.
