Pat: I've been playing with many of them and haven't yet found any that will keep me as happy as I am with my Treo 700P (and yes, I know I am going to have to move off the Palm OS, which is why I am looking),
I would highly suggest that you listen to incoming calls on each one and have some others check your voice quality on outgoing calls. It has been my observation, that some devices (I think many of the ones I have trouble hearing are Blackberries), are not putting out good sound quality on the outgoing calls. They seem to be muffled. I can't be certain if this is user error (such as not speaking into the microphone or speaking into it through a scarf) or if it's a hardware issue. Just my two cents.
