The Classic app creates a virtual Palm OS device on your Pre, including Hotsync ability. To get your old Palm OS data into Classic you simply hotsync Classic with the PC that has your old Palm Desktop. The only difference is that this Hotsync is performed via wi-fi rather than a cable.
Regarding your question of getting your Pre contacts into Classic... First get your Pre data into Palm Desktop. You can use an app like CompanionLink to sync your Pre with Palm Desktop. Once the data resides in Palm Desktop, then you can get the data into Classic by hotsyncing. (I don't know if Classic will sync with Outlook. If it does, then you could use PocketMirror instead of CompanionLink in the first step above.) -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Vishal Sheth Sent: Tuesday, February 23, 2010 8:37 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Treo] Agonizing decision How can the data from palm os come onto pre under classic?
