Well, if you don`t mind a bit of `drag and drop` then Craig gave you in 
his earlier posting:-

" . . . You can do this easily by getting a free tag/art management
app called MP3Tag (http://www.mp3tag.de/en/). Highlight a bunch of
tracks, drag a cover art image onto the blank spot in the GUI, and
click "Save" -- each MP3 file will now have the cover art embedded
within it, so you won't have to worry about losing associations in the
future.  . . . "

I find myself doing something similar using iTunes 8 for albums which it 
can`t find online artwork for and I have to manually scan.
