Thanks for the feedback. The ebooks rep offered to give me a store credit, since I was unable to read it. I hadn't even asked for it (although I was planning on it). I thought that was a nice gesture and good customer service.
I'm hoping that the makers of Stanza will produce an app for WebOS. I really liked it on my iPod touch. So I was pretty psyched to try pReader and it worked with the only two books I've so far tried. Then I installed the 800Mhz patch, and pReader stopped working. The symptom is similar to a Java error pReader had in its early life. But the book I'd been reading, Mossy Creek, worked in Popelli reader. Then I bought another book from eReader, and it needed to be unlocked, and Popelli won't load it. And neither will pReader. So, I'm guessing if I remove the 800 patch, which Levi says I got to do anyhow for the 1.4.1 update, pReader will start working again.
