Thx... I'll give it a try.

That's my experience.
I uninstalled the 800Mhz patch, mostly preparatory to the 1.4.1
update. Tried both readers and their responses has not changed. Popelli
opens one of my books, but the "locked" ones it won't. As in:
"Error
There was a problem converting the eBook. Either the format is not
supported, the book is encrypted with (DRM) or the file is corrupt. For
assistance please contact technical support."
Since pReader is reading all my books, including asking for and
accepting the unlock info on the books that need it, I have not pursued
Popelli.
pReader does claim a size limit, but so far it hasn't been a
problem. For instance, it's handling "The Omnivore's Dilemma" just fine.
One book I've not yet tried is "The Great Influenza." It exists
only on my netbook, and I haven't remembered to copy it to either my PC
or Pre. Maybe now I'm thinking along that line, I'll remember tonight.
It's a pretty huge book, paper-wise. Not quite "War & Peace," but
probably a good test.
But so far, pReader is reading all my pdb books. I shop ebooks at
either eReader.com or Barnes & Noble. I've not tried any other formats -
yet. One day, a book I want will force me to go to another seller.
