Some may say overkill or too much $...but I looked at it logically and said
that those are the places where I set my phone down...and if I am going to do
so, I may as well put it down on a charger.

If they weren't Touchstones (and Palm only offered charging via cable), I would
probably have one...maybe two wall chargers.

And this makes me think of another HUGE (to me at least) of Palm's phones...the
Touchstone technology! They need to play that up in advertising as well! I know
that I'd hate going back to anything else.

WOW, I thought I was overboard with 2 Touchstones! I bought an extra battery
and keep it in that little housing, all of which I carry in my briefcase just
in case. Every now and then I take it out and make sure it’s charged. Seems
to hold a charge for a long time.

Overall, I’m satisfied with it. I wish they’d just come up with battery
technology that would let a device like this go for a month or two like the
Pilot 1000! :-)

Cheers,

Don

I have it (since it is the same as the one for the Centro). It works fine. I
don't use it that often though because I have three Touchstones (work, kitchen,
and nightstand) and so my battery never drains down to a point where I need to
change it.

Is anyone here using the optional external charger that charges extra

batteries? How do you like it?

I wish the touchstone had a little slot for charging an extra battery, like

the old Treo desktop charger did.
