Yes, those, and the increasing unease I have about how committed Palm is to fixing things: those they break with new releases, such as the problem where it now (1.4.1) forgets set alarms, causing people to miss the bus; those that and enhancing things, such as allowing such very basic things as searching the calendar.
I'm not happy about contemplating leaving Palm (again), having been a Palm user since my first Pilot 1000, but I feel the Pre already slipping behind just as the Treo/Centro did, and Android is very appealing for many reasons. I'll know more by the end of the day June 4, since I'll be getting an Evo at 7am that day! If Palm had announced it's intention to launch something like the Incredible running webOS, I might not even consider leaving. But they haven't. Assuming it does these tasks effectively, I MIGHT consider it... just weighing my options. Other than the release of occasional patches, I find the Pre to be a bit boring. Palm never quite gets it right with their updates. I'm wondering if the grass is greener on the other side. --- In [email protected] <mailto:treo%40yahoogroups.com> , edward.fu...@... wrote: > > I am curious why you are thinking of getting an Android if you are uncertain about these questions.
