As long as you can get your Pre to talk with your Exchange environment (I could not because my company has everything locked down too tight) then you can have your contacts broken out however you would like. You put multiple connections on the Pre and it puts them together as if they were one calendar, set of contacts, whatever. Works really well.
I have my contacts in Google - no problem. I am, also, using Google calendar for my personal calendar items. for me I had to use the google sync to get my work calendar entries out but if you can get to Exchange you can have multiple calendar entries. I would like to continue to do this. However, right now, my Personal and my Work contacts are all tied together. I want to separate them out. It seems this is the time to do it. Can I move contacts to Google for personal and have Professional contacts on Exchange and have them both going into the Pre without crossing back over to one another ? Does anyone have tips as to how I might do this most easily? Michael Michael J.
