Agree completely.  Requiring extra steps to do some repetitive tasks might
now be a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but since it's been
demonstrated that it can be done efficiently (a la PalmOS calendar) why do
it inefficiently?

Consider what we USED to have to do with Palm OS:

1) Hit calendar button.

Anything more complicated than that to get to my calendar is a step
backward. Making someone wait on me to set a date for a next meeting
is not something I tolerate very well. Yes, I might be a bit
high-strung (shocking, I know), but I value highly both my time and
others' time.
