I have Photo Dialer, which works well enough but I'm afraid you are going to
run into the same problem you've had with Quick Contacts no matter what app you
use because the Pre sometimes just gets laggy and takes a long time to load
anything.  Best option might be ti just keep whatever app you settle on
running all the time - which you certainly could do with a Pre Plus.  My
memory-hobbled Sprint Pre is much more prone to memory issues the more stuff I
keep open...

I've been looking at speed dialing programs for my Pre+. I had tried out Quick
Contacts and thought I liked it well enough to purchase it, but it often has
really slow load times and I mean REALLY slow (like forget you had the program
on go back to it & see your contacts).  This is hardly speed
dial.  I figures I would ask opinions to see reactions.  I
have a couple others loaded, but some in the app catalog don't have light
versions to try before you buy.  Is Real softwares possibly worth 4x
the price of others?

So...if you have a speed dial/quick launch program and like it, why is it the
best to use?
