People like to complain and threaten, that's why! ;-)  So far I've yet to
hear anything about having to purchase a new phone in order to use WebOS 2.0
- until this thread.  And I read a lot of news on the subject.  However,
that being said, while the option to use WebOS 2.0 should be available to
current phone owners, I think everyone is also in agreement that Palm has
fallen behind the current slate of Android and IOS phones on that front, and
we all (ok MOST) actually WANT to have new hardware, if and when it becomes
available for our carrier.
