I believe that when you declare such scriptures over ur life, in faith and trust in the Lord, God will surely defend you from the enemy. When a child brags about his father, it brings confidence in the father and likewise when we show our confidence, belief and trust in the Lord's ability, he has no choice but to deliver all the goodness we deserve. I pray that we declare how good he is to us, how he is able to defend us, and how we know that we run to him in search of refuge. I am reminded of the song bow, which declares: i seek ur face, wen trouble comes my way i need ur light, wen darkness calls my name i need ur grace, wen i'm the one to blame i don't know wen, i don't know how i simply learn to bow.
