Today we read about Joseph in Genesis 40. The man interpreted the baker and the
butler's dreams accurately, but the butler did not remember him when he was
restored to his chief butlership.
What i would like to ask u is this, is ths life we r leaving rarely do we get
people to interpret our dreams, but wen we do, or when we get prophesy that is
fulfilled or even when we just get someone agree with us in prayer on an issue
even when we get assistance from someone, are we humble enough to go and say
thank you or to go back and say lets celebrate together for my breakthru has
come? Or we just continue with our lives as if the victory just came by itself.
It kind of ties of to the word we read in provebs 19:17, 'he that lendeth to
the poor lendeth unto the Lord, and that which he hath given will he pay him
again.'
if the Lord can remember the good works that we do for our brethren, we shld
likewise remember good works that our brethren do unto us and acknowledge them.
I had some say to me yesterday thank you for the influence you have made in my
life. I was shocked becoz i didn't remember any direct influence that i have
given this brother but when i got to think about it, it really made me realise
what God has put in me and that which i do that influences others indirectly
and this re-energised me.
Let us acknowledge those who have influenced us, helped us, prophesied over us,
agreed with us in prayer, those we shared our sorrows and grief with, or even
those we have shared lighter moments with us. This will ensure that the love of
God and of people continues to flow is this our year of isdom
